I had a great time on Sunday with all my mini-session clients. The weather held out long enough for us to get some great Christmas pics...I know everyone is anxiously awaiting their pics, so here is a sneak peak of some of my favorites!

Maegan's Headshots

Wanna know how you get good headshots when it's been pouring down outside? Simple, you throw up a backdrop on a 10x10 back porch patio and start shooting. Of course, it always helps when you have a beautiful subject ;)

North Texas State Fair Pageant

I've been so busy lately its been hard to keep up with the blog, but I really wanted to take a sec and share some of my favorite pictures from the last month. I had the opportunity to be the photographer for the NTSF Pageant. It was incredibly hot outside and these kids did a great job of keeping a smile on their face. Finally...Baby Addison has Arrived!!

My family has been waiting very patiently for Baby Addison to arrive. As you guys remember, her mom, Brittany (aka "Bertny") is like a second daughter to us. We have watched her blossom from preteen to now, new mommy. I was blessed to be able to be there when she brought Baby Addison into the world on Tuesday evening. And I do have to say, at a whole 5lbs. 7 oz, she is precious!

"Thank you, Brittany, for allowing me to be there and capture this amazing event. I will truly treasure those moments forever! You are going to be an amazing mommy! We love you!"

After I get the 200 pictures edited...I will put up a "Birth Documentation" section on my website for those who are dying to see them, but for now, I just wanted to post a couple of pictures we snapped over the last 36 hours.

Brittany

Brittany, Brittany, Brittany...what can I say. Brittany has been like a second daughter to me for a long time now. We have watched her grow from adolescense to adulthood and now as she blossoms into motherhood. I am so thankful to her for allowing me to take part in her maternity pictures and can't wait to be there as she gives birth to her baby girl, capturing every precious moment.

We love you "Bertnie", and know you will make a great mom to this sweet little girl. And PS...just a little selfish add...let's keep our fingers crossed little Addison is blessed with your stunning eyes and that gorgeous smile!!!!

Baby Briley

We were finally able to meet up with my family in Florida this past week for the 4th of July weekend. It was nice to be able to relax on the beach and enjoy some much needed sun! You may remember my niece who was born weighing in at a whole 3lbs 9oz in February (Baby Briley)...well here she is at 5 months! Can't believe how time flies by!

Natalie & Jacob

OK..People..It is HOT here in Texas...HOT, HOT, HOT...to hot to be doing pictures outside! I met up with Natalie and Jacob to do their Engagement Pictures this past weekend in one of my favorite locations.
